This 5ft 10in (1.80m) tall programmer didn’t hesitate to go flat out on his Yamaha R6 motorbike. The result? He won the 2018 Spa-Francorchamps 6-hour motorbike race. With typical modesty, Tom Kohnen, a native son of the region, still seems a bit surprised by his first podium finishes. “This season ended much better than I could have hoped, with about ten wins“. His next challenge? A very busy 2019 season with participation in the IDM championship. On 22 June 2019, he already finished 3rd in the STK600 category at Zolder. His target? To finish in the top 10!
